Javier Soto began Tucson Slab Leak after years of seeing copper lines fail under local homes, starting with calls from midtown and Flowing Wells where hard water left visible pinholes along exterior walls. He focused on slab-on-grade properties without basements, where leaks stayed hidden until residents noticed warm spots on tile or unexplained spikes in their water usage.

Electronic and acoustic location tools let Javier narrow a leak to a small section of pipe by listening for the distinct sound signature through the concrete and measuring moisture gradients with sensors, avoiding the need to break up multiple floor areas. When a home shows its third pinhole leak in the same run, that pattern signals the entire copper line has thinned from inside due to constant exposure to high calcium and magnesium, making a full overhead reroute with PEX the lasting solution rather than repeated spot repairs.

Over time the work expanded into Drexel Heights, Casas Adobes, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Green Valley and Sahuarita, where caliche hardpan slows any excavation and shifts most permanent fixes to ceiling or attic reroutes that leave the slab untouched.
